Backup and Syncing

It’s easy to use our backup service to copy your content onto several different cloud storage providers. Simply choose a source location (or “space”) and a space to which content will be duplicated. The service copies all of the content and metadata in the source space to the duplication space, creating the duplication space if necessary.

Our syncing service lets you be sure that whenever you upload new content, all the copies we manage for you get the same exact stuff. The duplication happens on change, which means that the service watches for all content that is added or updated in your DuraCloud account, determines if it should be copied to another DuraCloud storage site, and copies the content when necessary to keep all copies synchronized. The service places all of the copied content in an identically named space in the secondary storage location.
